These interpersonal skills, coupled with the understanding of how best to motivate and inspire others, may enhance your prospects of obtaining leadership and management roles in the future.”
All Apprenticeships Standards have been written by employers and funded by employers via the apprenticeship levy. The employer pays the apprenticeship salary and delivers the apprenticeship. However, 20% of the apprentice’s contractual hours are allocated for their “off-the-job training”. CMT supports the employer with this 20% by delivering the programme below, along with helping the apprentice and employer identify learning opportunities available to them throughout their apprenticeship. For example: the employer will normally provide induction training; manage the employee, including performance management reviews; conduct monthly 1-2-1s; provide support; provide shadowing opportunities, coaching, and mentoring; provide ongoing and final feedback; co-operate with the provider to facilitate productive learning related to the Assessor Coach Apprenticeship.
CMT will provide:
We enrol throughout the year so apprentices can make a start at any time. We run the workshops in cohort sizes of 6-8 and apprentices will be supported on a 1-2-1 basis prior to the first workshop. Workshops may take place at different locations as we encourage our employers to host.
For larger employers, this Apprenticeship will be funded through your Levy account. For smaller employers, not subject to the Apprenticeship Levy, the Apprenticeship will be funded 95% by the government and 5% by the employer. The funding band is £7000 of which approximately 20% will fund the EPA. An additional contribution of £245 has to be charged for the optional residential because food and residential accommodation cannot be Government funded.
