Paul is a Member of the Board for the Institute for Apprenticeships and chairs their Quality Committee. He is a NAS Apprentice Ambassador

Paul is also HR Director of a Midlands based retail chain and holds 5 further Directorships and is the Lead Assessor for CIPD Programmes.

A former International Athlete, Paul still holds the UK all time fastest 10 mile record for under 23's of 47 mins 50 secs.

Paul still enjoys his running, training virtually every day and competing regularly.

Mark’s a former international marathon runner with a best of 2hrs 13 mins when finishing 10th in the London Marathon in 1985.

Mark still trains every day, but more for pleasure & well- being rather than competing.

Chris became Britain’s Premier Young Butcher in 2014, playing a substantial role in being selected to represent the UK for the world Butchery internationals Chris has also won several other awards including ‘apprentice with most management promise’ ‘Champions of Champions’.

In his spare time, Chris likes to spend time with family & friends.  His hobbies include snooker, tennis, golf, football and swimming.

In that time Kevin won numerous prestigious awards. He also worked in the food manufacturing sector for a period of time.

Kevin has a great love for the outdoors and that led him to get involved in the Scout Movement for the past 15 years. He also enjoys keeping fit by taking part in Cycling and Running events around the country.

Colin has worked in the meat industry for 39 years and has a background in the wholesale catering sector gaining experience in peace work butchery including boning and portion control. Colin was involved in the opening of a butchery Academy and was manager for young apprentices. The Academy was a great success winning training provider of the year and individual apprentice of the year.

Outside work Colin is a family man who loves being with grandkids and interests include travelling, cinemas, and watching sports including football as a lifelong avid Liverpool supporter.

Matthew has always been involved in the development of peoples skills, whether through SME training programs that he helped set up and run, firstly at the Advanced Manufacturing Centre, then at The Birmingham Centre for Manufacturing and finally at WEMTECH (West Midlands Technology Centre) where he was Company Secretary. Or, then as a qualified teacher with 14 years experience of teaching in both secondary and the rehabilitation of prisoners.

In his spare time he helps run the Birmingham Backgammon Club which, with a friend, he started twenty plus years ago. He also manages every year the ‘Midlands Open’ an international backgammon tournament. Matthew gets great pleasure from taking a beginner and turning them into a winner.

He has two dogs which he loves walking in the hills of Clent and Kinver.

Outside of work, Nick is the inventor of the TopLine Dance Frame, which is regularly featured on ‘Strictly’, has appeared on Dragons Den and, along with his wife, Alison, owns & manages a dance & fitness studio. And as if that wasn’t enough, they also compete all over the UK and Europe as Senior Competitive ballroom dancers.

Edward is the youngest member of CMT and has recently left school, he is studying level 3 accounting with AAT and will be putting that into practice at CMT. Edward previously studied Business and Accounting at school and is looking to further his career with us at CMT.

Edward previously worked in retail for Mercedes-Benz and still has his passion for cars and motor sport. In his free time Edward enjoys watching his favourite football team West Brom and watching motor sports especially F1 and F2. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and family when he is not on his games console.

She worked for Government for 8 years for the LSC and then SFA in a variety of employer facing and policy roles, before moving to become an Independent Consultant in the field. She has since worked with some of the UK's largest businesses, training providers and other stakeholders delivering a wide range of projects around Apprenticeships for her clients.

Tammie originally worked with CMT when she facilitated the development of the L&D Apprenticeship Standards.

She is a Mum of two girls and enjoys seeing friends and family and attempting to keep fit in her spare time.
