ASSESSOR & QUALITY ASSURANCE AWARDS:
LEVEL 3 IN ASSESSING COMPETENCE IN THE WORKPLACE
The Award is intended for those people who are carrying out assessments of occupational competence in the work environment and replaces the A1 Assessors Award.
One unit assesses the knowledge required to carry out competent assessments and the other assesses the performance of the Practitioner in planning and carrying out assessments and giving feedback. The Practitioner must have 2 learners to assess who are each going to be assessed on 2 units.
Assessment is through professional discussion, observation and production of a portfolio of evidence.
LEVEL 4 IN THE INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE OF ASSESSMENT PROCESSES AND PRACTICES
This qualification is intended for those who maintain the quality of assessment from within an organisation or Assessment Centre and acts as an Internal Verifier. It replaces the V1 Verifiers Award.
One unit assesses the knowledge and understanding a Practitioner requires to carry out the internal quality assurance process. The other assesses the performance of the Practitioner in carrying out the quality assurance process. The Practitioner must have 2 Assessors that he/she is responsible for and each Assessor must have 2 candidates that they are assessing.
Assessment is through professional discussion, observation and production of a portfolio of evidence.
