Advanced level qualifications are suitable for people who:
- Have responsibility for Human Resource decision making within the organisation at either operational, tactical or more strategic level
- Are HR professionals in a team or HR functional role who are seeking to enhance and develop their career
- Have responsibilities for the HR function and activities within an organisation without a specialist function
- Are independent or employed as consultants who support organisations in meeting their goals.
Depending on experience, prior learning and personal circumstance this qualification will take typically 18 to 24 months to complete.
It is possible to complete this sooner depending on ability to dedicate the time required and meet the scheduled deadlines.

This qualification is ideal for those currently working within HR looking for formal qualifications to go alongside current experience.
This qualification may support those currently working in HR Manager, Head of HR or HR Director roles or those who are aspiring to progress to these roles after completion of an intermediate level CIPD qualification.
Learners will be allocated a dedicated trainer who will work with them throughout the programme.

Candidates are assessed via a range of assessment methods to ensure that all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria are met in a way that enhances their learning experience.
