The session will be delivered by our CEO Paul Cadman, Deputy CEO Emma Horne and HR Apprentice Tom Bartlett. As co-chairs of the L&D/HR Trailblazer Employer Group, Paul and Emma, will share the latest information on the HR and L&D Apprenticeship Standards as well as their knowledge and insight on: –
- How you can build Apprenticeships into your Resourcing/Talent Management/Workforce Planning Strategies
- Institute for Apprenticeships – what’s its purpose, what does it do, who’s involved and where to go for help
- Education and Skills Funding Agency – how the levy and Apprenticeship funding works
- Developing new Apprenticeship Standards – the process, fun, delights, frustrations, lessons learned etc
Our HR Apprentice, Tom Bartlett, will share his perspective on why he chose an HR Apprenticeship over University, his journey as an Apprentice, and his own recommendations to employers on recruiting and developing their own (HR & L&D) teams through Apprenticeships. The session promises to be an informative and important session on an area which is undergoing its biggest change in many years.
