Yesterday the Crosby Team attended the Learning & Development Show at the London Olympia. 3 members of the team attended the Exhibition and Conference and it turned it turned out be a fantastic event. Our CE Paul Cadman and Deputy CE Emma Horne were speaking at the conference in the Developing High-value Apprenticeship Schemes to Build Your Talent Pipeline session.
The team were joined by Peter Anderson, Managing Partner of Troup Bywaters + Anders & Andrew Cuminskey, Group Learning and Development Manager from Bellway Homes. Paul was able to give an insight into the Trailblazer process and update the group on the development of the new Learning and Development Standards which currently being developed.
Our HR Apprentice Tom Bartlett attended the event for CMT and told us ‘the opportunity to meet L&D professionals was fantastic in terms of my personal development. I was able to speak with some fantastic individuals and draw down from their experiences to further develop my understanding of L&D’.
Emma Horne stated following conference ‘It was great to share the stage with two other companies who share our passion for developing young people and hear from them the incredible benefits and rewards in developing Apprenticeship schemes for their businesses and the Apprentices themselves’.
