At Crosby Management Training, we believe that careers education is the foundation for meaningful work, purposeful progression, and lifelong enrichment. Our Careers Programme is embedded throughout our delivery and connects learning to work and life, enabling learners to identify strengths, build confidence, and create futures that matter to them.
Guided by our passion for purpose, commitment to quality, and being authentic, ethical, and accountable, we partner with learners, parents/carers, employers, and wider stakeholders to ensure that every programme is appropriately aligned to identified career pathways, meets tangible stretching goals, and supports learners to achieve and thrive.
Backed by our leadership and governance teams, the programme is championed by our qualified Careers Leader, Carolyn Swain MCIPD, ensuring structure, accountability, and continuous improvement across all programmes.
Integral to our learning provision, our careers programme is designed to ensure all learners receive consistent, high-quality support and encouragement to identify and embrace opportunities throughout their journey with us, and beyond:
- Matching programmes to learner opportunity and aspiration while ensuring meaningful growth from the outset, framing achievement, progression, and longer-term career success.
- Providing broader learning experiences and recognition through our residential adventure, nominations for Industry awards, functional skills studies, awareness of educational progression options and other wider enrichment activities, enabling discovery of further learning pathways and/or future opportunities.
- Bridging learning with employment through high quality apprenticeships and qualifications. Learners engage in programme-related workplace projects with appropriate mentoring and gain awareness of sector-led activities that reflect evolving industry expectations.
- Developing self-awareness, confidence, reflective practice and effective decision-making, supporting learners to make informed choices and plan next steps effectively.
- Engaging with parents, carers, employers, and partners – our collaboration ensures careers support is relevant, impartial, and aligned to learners’ individual needs.
- Benchmarking our outcomes and being committed to quality, continually reviewing programmes to ensure compliance with regulatory and awarding body requirements, setting high yet fair standards and providing learners with the greatest opportunity for growth and success.

We will ensure that your chosen programme provides for growth and is appropriately aligned to your immediate learning opportunities as well as your longer-term career aspirations, framing options for your success. Our Careers Programme, embedded throughout your learning journey, allows you to go beyond and discover more about who you are, what drives you, and where your strengths could take you. We will ensure you understand options for continued education, employment or further training, encouraging lifelong learning and planned career development.
Through your programme, both in collaboration with your employer and individually, you can explore your passions, recognise your strengths and interests, and align these to your choices, so that the career you build continually enriches you. We champion opportunities for you to broaden your horizons through our enrichment programme; take part in our truly memorable residential adventure – building confidence, resilience, flexibility and team working, attend some of our “inspiring voices” expert sessions, achieve functional skills in maths and/or English, be nominated for relevant high profile Industry Awards and/or participate in other recognition schemes we identify/operate. We will also engage with and/or signpost you to other relevant sources of specialist knowledge and expertise to further enhance your journey, and on completion you are invited to join our growing Alumni for further updates and networking opportunities. Your full engagement will optimise your learning and ability to achieve continued future career success.

We know how deeply parents and carers want the young people they care for to have the tools to succeed, not just for now, but for the future. We will ensure that their chosen programme provides for growth and is appropriately aligned to their immediate learning opportunities as well as supporting their longer-term career aspirations, aligning them to achieve success. Careers learning is integrated with the identified programme, encouraging learners to build confidence and resilience – providing direction and the ability to make thoughtful choices and empower self-determination, so they have the skills to shape their own future.

Going beyond their identified programme, our enrichment programme provides opportunities to take part in our truly memorable residential adventure – building confidence, resilience, flexibility and team working; attend some of our “inspiring voices” expert sessions; achieve functional skills in maths and/or English; be nominated for relevant high profile Industry Awards and/or participate in other recognition schemes we identify/operate. Through our programmes they can explore their passions, recognise their talents, and align their choices, so that the career they build continually enriches them. We can also engage with, or signpost to, other sources of specialist knowledge and expertise/guidance relevant to them, to further enhance their journey, and on completion of their programmes, learners are invited to join our growing Alumni for further updates and networking opportunities.
They also need your support. Encourage their engagement with both their core learning and wider opportunities, so they gain maximum benefit from their programme and are fully enabled to continually build a strong career pathway. Our trainers and specialists remain accessible to ensure you are informed and able to support specific needs where relevant.

We will ensure that the chosen programme(s) provide for growth and are appropriately aligned to learners’ immediate opportunities and your career plan for them, as well as their longer-term career aspirations, so everyone is aligned for success.
Delivered by occupationally experienced trainers, learning is practical, relevant and immediately applicable. Our Careers Programme is integrated to the learning programme, aligning education with industry and providing structured, stable and values-driven pathways that prepare learners for real-world success.
We will work closely with you to connect learning with your organisational needs, blending skill development, mentorship, and practical workplace experience. We encourage you to optimise value and support learners to go beyond the immediate programme, engaging with our truly memorable residential adventure – building confidence, resilience, flexibility and team working; supporting time to attend some of our “inspiring voices” expert sessions and/or tuition for completion of functional skills in maths and/or English; and/or supporting nominations for relevant industry awards as well as being instrumental to their participation in other recognition schemes – internal to you and/or Crosby. We also partner with other expert agencies to support individual needs, including learning needs where these are declared or identified, and on completion of their programmes, learners are invited to join our growing Alumni for further updates and networking opportunities.

This ensures our standards remain appropriately high while also being fair and consistent – providing learners with the greatest opportunity for growth and success.
